Cards, (So Inexpensive)

A standard deck of cards can be used to play hundreds of games. The more the deck is used, the lower the cost of the entertainment it provides.

Lets say you buy a standard deck of cards and they cost you $5.00. You and a friend sit down to play a fast paced game called Speed.

You could easily play 1 game of Speed, every 5 minutes, (that is 12 games in an hour). That comes to about $0.42 per game. When you divide that between 2 people, that is $0.21 per person, per game. You might look at that and say, $0.21 is a lot of money per game, but looking from the top down, that is still $5.00 for 2 people to have an hour of fun. Now, that’s inexpensive entertainment.

The savings continue though, because that same deck of cards will likely be used again and again. You may play Solitaire, Rummy, Cribbage, Spades or any one of hundreds of other games that can be played with a standard deck of cards.
