Events and Attractions

Here you will read about various types of events and attractions, like going to visit a lighthouse, going to a museum, attending a LAN party, going to a fish hatchery (and more).
There are lots of events and attractions that you can go see, that don’t cost anything for admission.
A picture of the Vista House Sign, along with the building itself in the background to the left, at the Crown Point State Scenic Corridor, 40700 Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, Oregon, USA .
In 1913, Samuel Lancaster suggested a building should be constructed on the the Crown Point promontory, to serve as a viewpoint for the Columbia, a comfort station for travelers, but also as a memorial to those who suffered trials and hardships while coming to the Oregon country.
At the time of this writing, there is no charge to visit Vista House at the Crown Point State Scenic Corridor, 40700 Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, Oregon, USA.

Some events and attractions do charge admission.

Seen at the Oregon Gardens in Silverton, Oregon, USA, a beautiful trio of hot pink dahlia flowers lined up in a row, a large dahlia bloom in the foreground, at the bottom of the picture, another dahlia bloom at the middle of the picture, and slightly back, still another dahlia bloom back and to the right of the middle dahlia bloom.
Three beautiful dahlia flowers as seen along one of the paths at the Oregon Gardens, 879 W Main St, Silverton, Oregon, USA.

Others might cost quite a bit to attend.

There are thirteen pieces of framed art (by Peter Max, David Najar, Slava Ilyayev, amongst others), set up along a wall on display in a large room, for an art auction, as seen onboard the Norwegian Pearl during a cruise to Alaska.
The artwork seen here, was displayed for the purpose of an auction, held on ship during a cruise to Alaska on the Norwegian Pearl.
There was no cost to go into the auction, but the cost to go on the cruise is another story.

As is the case in life, it’s up to you to decide where you want to go and what you want to see.

Begin planning, put your plan into action and when everything is ready (as planned), go.
